Thanks to Nicole for this wonderful article on preparing for the ceremony. As a minister and wedding officiant for over a decade, I think it's important for couples to know that a skilled and experienced officiant will help you craft a personal ceremony. Part of the expertise of a minister, is to help the couple plan for their marriage, but also give them the proper, detailed resources so that they can co-create the ceremony of their dreams. I work closely with the couples I marry to offer them ceremony outlines, suggested readings, or to research items that will be perfectly suited for their relationship, There is enough stress in wedding preparation without having to create the entire ceremony yourself, and therefore, hiring a minister who can guide, equip, and support you in the process is the best assurance for an easy and meaningful preparation process and a flawless ceremony.
