Charleston wedding by Soiree

The first wedding book I ever purchased was Southern Weddings by Tara Guérard, the genius behind Soirée. That single book inspired soooo many ideas for my own wedding and I am continuously amazed by Tara’s tremendous talents. So, when I came across this behind-the-scenes look into one of Soirée’s weddings on Charleston Weddings website, I was beyond excited.
Below is a glimpse of the article but head here for the full scoop {and photo gallery}:

Today’s Charleston weddings are all about mixing the hospitality and charm of the Old South with modern aesthetics. Soirée by Tara Guérard did just that as they transformed the Gibbes Museum of Art’s intimate back courtyard into a garden of paper florals. “This ceremony and reception is for a young couple,” says Tara. “It’s fresh, it’s ‘green,’ and it still illustrates what people want when they choose Charleston.”
